We are here to serve our community by providing food and clothing to the individuals and families throughout Cass County that are in need. Our goal is to offer an environment of love, caring, and hope in which people can come to be fed and clothed, as well as reassured that they are not alone in facing their hardships.
About Fishes ‘N’ Loaves
When Fishes ‘N’ Loaves Food Pantry began in 1997, we were serving 12 families per month. Today we provide for approximately 90 families bi-weekly; about 205 adults and 130 children. In addition we donate any excess bread/baked goods to retirement communities and organizations in need throughout Cass County.
Fishes ‘N’ Loaves food pantry is a not-for-profit agency. All director’s and workers are volunteer’s. We obtain food from Harvester’s, most of which is purchased using financial donations. We also rely greatly on donations and food drives from local businesses, schools, churches, and organizations, as well as individuals.
Who We Serve
Our doors are open to residents in Cass County that meet our guidelines for assistance. The hardships of life can come at any individual or family at any time. Whether it be job loss, illness, injury, or family tragedy, we all face times of difficulties and need. We also serve many people on fixed incomes. Many of our clients have come to us for assistance and gone as their financial situations improved. Some have even returned as volunteers.
